After Orio Litta we reach the Guado of Sigerico, the “Transitum Padi”, where walking pilgrims are transported to the other bank. The cycling itinerary follows the bank of the Po instead,along cycle path traits until San Rocco al Porto and Piacenza.

After a brief stretch along the Via Emilia we reach Pontenure, and cycle across the countryside of Piacenza until the castle of Paderna, then across little trafficked roads that lead to Fiorenzuola d’Arda.
